It already exists. There is lab grown meat that is indistinguishable from the real thing. The problem is because of how long it takes to create, it costs a ton of money. A lab grown steak is pretty much the price of a premium cut of Kobe or Wagyu beef. You can believe billionaires are already eating that.

Software allows for a system of perpetual subscriptions tailor made for rent seeking and forced use of proprietary licensed tech.This goes double for self driving vehicles. Perpetual leases. License agreements. Imagine a corporation being able to lock you out of "your" vehicle.
