there aren't enough doctors so people if they're not replaced they'll definitely be utilized in great numbers.

Doctors will never be replaced. I can see AI being used in an assistant/Rolodex function.
I think A.I will help lower the barrier of entry to multiple fields financially allowing people with a passion and/or aptitude to enter any field they want. so doctors using A.I as an assistant or advisor/supervisor could be the future for a lot of professions.

I'm not saying we have to be cavemen, but the society can decide amongst itself just not to use AI to replace jobs. It's not inevitable. I compare it to how society decided in the 60s that we would not use nukes or how we decided in the 20s not to use chem weapons . Nothing is stopping You from lobbying against AI or refusing to buy products from companies that use AI to replace people.
