I will say for primary care, I could see this “working”. There’s such a huge backlog for primary care and most young folk (15-40) just need an annual physical, bloodwork and maybe a prescription renewal for non comorbid issues (ie birth control, chronic dermatological conditions, etc). That would clear up PCPs to see higher risk patients or patients that have been escalated from AI visits for follow up on more serious things. Even now, a lot of primary care has been shifted to nurse practitioners and they only escalate you to a physician if something seems off
