North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
The U.S. basically wants to be a rougue lone super power with proxies all over the world.

The cold war at least kept 2 super powers in check.

There is no other country that can check the U.S. and since the rise of the global economy, U.S. corporations are in bed with other nations so from an economic stand point the U.S. has essentially become too big to fail.

We essentially fund it and we don't benefit from it. Every nation is seen as equal when it comes to matters outside of the Security Council.

That's not true

United Nations Funding | How does the U.S. Fund the UN?

Each year, Congress must pass legislation to fund the activities and obligations of the U.S. government, including funding for the United Nations. On average, funding for our UN dues is only around 8% of the total international affairs budget, which is just over 1% of the overall federal budget.
