I remember when I actually watched news on TV, and checking different news shows, and watching Bill Kristol with his slimy devious personality promoting and justifying warmongering every time he was on one of Fox News shows.

Literally, the Top Mouthpiece for Neo-Cons between 2001 - 2018.

The host would always introduce him as the editor of The Weekly Standard, well now it appears it has gone belly up.

I wholeheartedly support their right of free speech and press to promote warmongering that killed millions of human beings, destroyed stable progressive developed Middle Eastern countries into hellholes, and cost trillions of American taxpayer dollars that could have been spent to improve this country. No censorship was inputted, nor should it have been, but I'm ok that they won't do it through their magazine anymore.


Notice this is a warmonger mouthpiece that was public relations for millions of dead and trillions of evaporated taxpaying dollars, but they were never de-platformed

I think another poster @Triipe was probably right, this publication wasn't actually making money to stay afloat in the first place, it was probably financed as a literal public relations mouthpiece for particular entities that benefited from seeing their agenda and profit margins increase by having this scumbucket be the hype man on Fox News, etc.

High key alot of newspapers aren't actually making enough in subscriptions/advertisements to stay afloat, that's why these billionaires like Carlos Slim for New York Times and Jeff Bezos for Washington Post purchase them. They just look at owning it as a business cost.

You said that the establishment was propping them UP and then they stopped. That sounds like the establishment did COLLUDE to force these voICEs out of business. Brothers and sisters, today is indeed a very sad day. I don't agree with what the Weekly Standard had to say, but in order for us to have the ability to say otherwise, they have to have the ability to say what they said. Let's debate different ideas and not CELEBRATE when ideas we DISagree with are silenced.

it's fascinating to me just how pervasive hip hop culture really is in mainstream society. we just sort of take it for granted - of course large companies want/need certain demographics as consumer base. but to think that bill fukking kristol of all people would be on msnbc, doing some newsie type skit with fat joe.
