My young breh, there was a time when Bill Cosby was Oprah, Jay-Z and Beyonce COMBINED. It's hard to imagine, I know - it's damn near before my time, and I was only two when TCS debuted - but Bill Cosby certainly was the most powerful man in America (politicians notwithstanding, of course).
From what I can infer, he hasn't been found guilty.
Yet there are people in this thread cursing his name and declaring him a serial rapist.
Ironically, you're the same people who complained that white America had convicted Trayvon Martin guilty of assaulting Zimmerman.
Guaranteed you're the same people who would complain about you being guilty until proven innocent as a black individual in America.

Why is Cosby saying these things to the white media instead of black people directly?
Is he saying these things to a white media or was it a lecture that black people attended, recorded didn't like what was said and start passing shyt around like a cold? What station was he on when he was saying what he was saying? Because as far as i know when he was walking thru my hood with community leaders and people from the neighborhood; a predominantly black and low income and that at the time was 4th in the nation crime rate. He was saying the same thing and the people was and still agree with him.

For the last ten years, legendary comedian Bill Cosby has been getting media attention primarily for his many rants against dysfunctional “Black culture”. White supremacists and suspected white supremacists have gladly circulated numerous videos, articles and quotes of Bill Cosby criticizing black society for many of the ills that are prevalent in lower income areas.
This reinvention of Cosby began in 2004 with his infamous “Pound Cake” speech,where he blamed lack of parenting for many issues within black communities.
Sociologist Michael Eric Dyson criticized Cosby in his book Is Bill Cosby Right? Or Has the Black Middle Class Lost Its Mind? Dyson said that Cosby built up years of mainstream credibility by ignoring race in his comedy routines and in his television programs, but that Cosby has now chosen to address the issues of race by chastising poor Blacks rather than by defending them. Dyson says that, in blaming low income Blacks for not taking personal responsibility, Cosby is ignoring “white society’s responsibility in creating the problems he wants the poor to fix on their own.”
Unfortunately Bill Cosby fell for one of the oldest tricks in the book. The dominant society gave Cosby all the airtime, print media and tools he needed to dig himself in a hole. By constantly engaging in respectability politics and finger wagging towards many people in the black community, Bill Cosby ended up isolating himself from many of those within black society.
Now the mainstream media and the dominant society has turned on Bill Cosby. And they turned on him using one of the oldest stereotypes in white supremacist society. A rape charge. The media outlets have chosen to parade around some random white female who claimed Bill Cosby rape her 30 years ago.
Many people are criticizing the woman ( named Barbara Bowman) for coming out after 30 years to tell her story . But we must not overlook the fact that these media outlets are choosing to put this woman on the air. These same media outlets choose to protect white celebrities who are caught up in numerous sex scandals ( shout out to Woody Allen, John Travolta, Roman Polanski,etc).
Many of these media outlets want to blame comedian Hannibal Buress for bringing attention to the Bill Cosby rape cases. Last month Buress did a comedy routine where he brought up numerous rape charges launched against Bill Cosby. But again these media outlets are choosing to use the Hannibal Burress comedy routine as the basis of their coverage.
Ask yourself: Do you honestly believe that this white woman came out of nowhere with her 30 year old rape allegations because of some marginally known stand up comedian’s comedy routine?
Buress was not some well-known comic. It wasn’t like he was some type of household name. So why did they choose to use his comedy routine as the basis for this media slander? Because they were looking for reason to do it. They wanted to slander Bill Cosby anyway and they were looking for the perfect opportunity to do so without appearing to be racist.
Melanoid people are going to have to stop being used by the dominant society. They will parade you around to be the voice of a respectable black person. They will parade you around to be the anti-civil rights black person. They will parade you around to be the anti-militant black person, and the anti-political black person. They will parade you around and shower you with accolades, and call you “America’s Dad.”
But once they have no more use for you anymore and you don’t have the same relevance as before they will literally discard you and destroy your name.
Bill Cosby apparently did everything right. He “pulled his pants up”. He was educated. He was non-threatening. He spoke proper English. He didn’t use profanity. He never openly challenged systematic white supremacy. And after all of that, the white supremacists still rewarded Bill Cosby by labeling him as a rapist.
When are black people going to realize that we are all Melanoid people living under the same system of racism, and despite class,group,fraternal,and political differences,we are all judged and controlled as a group? The reality is,we are going to have to all get a code of conduct as a Melanoid group ,and come up with ways to replace the system of racism with a system of justice.
Because under the system of racism, no Melanese person is exempt from the effects of white supremacy.
