I would describe himself as someone who sees bias on MSN, and maybe even categorizes it as propaganda or maybe not, then makes a decision on politics or forms an opinion on politics wherein that decision or opinion is not the result of hearing anyone or MSN politicize the topic, it was formed completely outside of commentaries politicizing it.
This is probably why he is not a partisan. And not allowing anyone to politicize a topic and only then you form an opinion and not just parroting the opinion of your party's message to me would naturally make you non-partisan.
He has passed step 1
Now on to step 2 where he realizes that both parties are corrupt and the corruption is too systematic to keep voting Dem or Repub.

This was a choice even beyond partisan bullshyt. I wouldnt call anyone a straight dumbass if they considered kasich, cruz, rubio, bush, christie or even carson and any of them ended up winning.
The stuff he has done and was doing during the campaign was enough to show he was unfit for office.
45 won because of dumbasses like this.
If there is a choice between an impulsive, selfish, immature, and uninformed "billionaire" against a unlikeable, centerish, liberal, hawkish, politically retarded establishment candidate. and I personally dont like any candidates enough, im not voting. That is the more responsible choice.
It was independents who pushed him over the top in those states he won by razor thin margins.
