But then again, unfortunately, I live in a white neighborhood --- for work reasons. So I may be a little out of touch.

I've been done with him for years, but I'm sure even people on the left that still watch his show only do so to hear the opinions of the guests.
How many "Bill Maher" fans or supporters do you really think their are out there?
He's a terrible stand up comedian with a smugness about just about every opinion he has.
And for the record, he proudly proclaimed to be a libertarian on his shows during the early 2000s. I'm sure his views have changed some since then, but I'm sure their are clips of him on Politically Incorrect stating he was a libertarian, so it's not much of a reach to suggest he still harbors some of those beliefs.

I usually give comedians a wide berth in what they say.
Sometimes the cringe is the point of the joke, but you can't dictate how someone takes the joke.

No empathy for any non white person who goes on his show. They know what they're walking into.
A lot of "Bill Maher is bad BUT" type posts in here. When black people got convinced Atheism was cool by old white males and neckbeards Bill Maher had a reserved seat at the BBQ. He's used his pass so much since the shyt is worn out.
