well judgment aside, they should be more careful. you have to be considerate of the world we live in now. muslim terrorists make front page news pretty regularly, so as a muslim you should want not to be associated with them.

i am a white person, so if i don't want to be associated with racist cacs i need to think twice about how i present myself. if i all of a sudden shaved my head, grew out a thick beard and got me some confederate tattoos... i imagine there might be a few ppl out there that wouldn't feel comfortable around me.

and best believe if i were a teacher in that school and i saw a young brown skinned boy - possibly muslim - walking around with a strange briefcase, and he was being purposefully vague, and he was being uncooperative... you're damn right i would be suspicious and afraid.

Some of the most racist white people are clean cut, business suit wearing, church going, so called christians. I know that you're speaking in terms of being prejudged based on social stereotypes, but some people who are more socially aware understand that it's not the obvious, caricature type who is the problem.

The young man made a clock, and he's branded a terrorist, yet you have everyday looking white kids walking into schools and churches killing people just because. How are white boys supposed to disassociate themselves from them? Would they even be asked to? There was no national crackdown on white men with short haircuts after Timothy McVeigh blew the federal building in Oklahoma City. Yet, we are demanding that anybody who isn't white, assimilate in order to make white people feel more comfortable with their own racism, prejudice and bigotry. Gotta love it.

Based on real world data, what type of kid would be most likely to bring a bomb to school? A white kid! Columbine anyone?

When has a Muslim kid ever bombed a U. S. school? Never. Meanwhile there have been a few bombs and countless bombs threats in schools by white kids.

So Bill Maher's bigoted blinders were on display because he advocated profiling while failing to consider all factors in this scenario and only focusing on one piece of data: the kid was Muslim. That's why the shyt he said was stupid.

That they did SOMETHING. I work in first response and I know how things work. Sometimes in the beginning things don't go perfect. Investigation happened and it wasn't a threat.

And furthermore, white people's irrational fear of suicide-bombings and muslim terrorist attacks in America are way off base and add fuel to the fire. They've let the news from the Middle East cripple them into fear and irrationality. How many suicide bombings have actually happened in America?

Lol I can tell you are sheltered as well as being ignorant and bigoted. I've been on planes with people with turbans quite a few times. Nobody cares. If you're traveling to any city like D.C., NY, even Atlanta, etc. there's a solid chance you may be on a plane with people with turbans.
