No he doesn't. He does dikkride Israel, but he doesn't believe in God and is an atheist. He's always been very clear about that.

When I'm back home, I watch his show most Friday nights. I usually agree with what he says, especially when it comes to the wingnuts and things like economic policy. But similar to what this article was getting at, I don't like how he acts when it comes to religion. He uses small groups of wackos to generalize religion, and he always badmouths it. It's fine for him to be an Athiest, but he doesn't need to be vicious about it. When it comes to that, I feel like he's trying to tell other people how to live their lives, which is similar to what the religious nuts want to do.

He's a hypocrite. He gets on religious people for being closed minded and clinging to stereotypes but yet he clings to stereotypes and is closed minded as well.

I use to watch his show but his bias towards Israel became too much to listen through on top of how he articulates his arguments sometimes makes me even say some shyt a repub would say about liberals at times. That's just his personality though, its a bit douchey and arrogant and otherwise pretentious. Other than that he makes some fine points more than half the time.

One example that comes to mind is all the times that he claims that religion is "bullshyt". As I said earlier, he doesn't need to be vicious about it. He can just do his thing when it comes to his spiritual views, and everyone else can do theirs.

Explain to me how saying religion is bullshyt is the same as telling other people how to live their lives?

Also, why do you think the non religious need not "be vicious about" or ridicule religion?
