Its just disturbing to me the way this whole situation has been handled by the media. 9 people were slaughtered by a white supremacist for absolutely no reason other than the fact that they were black, and you have media outlets like CNN sensationalizing it and mocking it via that douche bag Don Lemon. And now you have FOX news creating segments like this, as if America being viewed as a racist country (which it is) is the real tragedy here. We treated the Aurora Theatre Massacre and Sandy Hooke victims with such respect. The coverage of this terrorist attack is very telling. They say they don't care through their actions.

I don't agree. I was following it pretty much through the NYT's and a few other news outlets and the outrage/empathy and sympathy were just as genuine in the beginning.

What I don't like....which is what I've noticed when atrocities of this nature happens....is how politicized it all becomes in this day and age. It seems like every politician finds a way to exploit these atrocities to spring board and advertise themselves and their own agendas...

Now the arguments about gun control pop up everywhere....now this flag situation is the topic of discussion ( not that it shouldn't be taken down) and all these special interest sub political groups pop up everywhere chiming in on these side topics. The same exact thing happened with Sandy Hook...all of a sudden it created this platform for gun control laws...then it delved into debates about fully automatic weapons...and who should have them and who shouldn't...then it shifted into how many bullets should be left in a magazine with Democrats and Republicans yelling across the isle. It all gets to the point where the actual deaths become the 3rd and fourth topic of discussion.
