Does this refer to the racial makeup of the police dept?

im referring to black people, period

if certain black people happen to be police or mayors then it includes them too

(i know people will groan) but like tariq nasheed said, black people need a code of conduct, and we have to make sure all black people abide by the code

im not cosigning anything oreilly said, but if you are going to attack him, dont use a truthful statement to atack him with, that is my point

Baltimore's PD is over 50% black, black mayor, black city council etc. Just throwing black faces at the situation is not the answer. The problem with saying that black people need "a code of conduct" is that it ignores structural inequalities and implies that there's something inherently wrong with blackness. Something that we could just "fix" if we made up our minds to do so.. Do middle class white communities have a "code of conduct" or do they just have better access to resources due their skin color/financial position?

Typical deflection from a snake. The police and the government arent the probably, its skin color. This is a stealth :mjpls: coming from a habitual :mjpls:"leave them nikkas alone to their own devices".

nah you are way off, middle class communities do have a code of conduct, and its a code of conduct that permeates the white power structure

the "structural inequalities" that you are referring to are caused by a code on conduct within white communities, from the regular joe to a judge and cop, they all abide by a code of white supremacy

i totally agree that throwing a black face doesn't make any difference, that is why its important to have a black code of conduct, the black code of conduct has (or should have) nothing to do with white people

Eh, chicken and egg thing to me. Pretty sure there are plenty of people in poor black communities with a code of conduct, just doesn't mean much when you don't have financial opportunities/resources.

its not a chicken and egg problem, its black problem that black people have to solve

the financial opportunities come from having a code of conduct
