But Bill Russell would not have made it in todays NBA :troll:

Dan the Man :salute: for preserving pre-1980's basketball one player at a time. You should get some outside help and make this an official type project (don't know if you are already).

Some people underestimate how athletic players were back in the past.

Co-sign. I know they didn't always have footage, but when they did it was always shown in slow motion and never at real speed (this goes for all sports). They always do the old players a disservice with this shyt. Till this day I don't think I have ever seen tape of Jim Brown running at real speed. :mindblown: Why do they always think everything pre 1980s needs to be slowed down.

It was a very popular trend in the 60's and 70's, I have to correct most of the old Winek film documentary footage from back then.

Before I drop the Bill Russell mix in the coming weeks you guys should check out my last mix of a 60's player who was once known as the best defensive forward of all time before Scottie Pippen rose to prominance

Also I'm tying up the loose ends on Connie Hawkins mix

He was playing center against the strongest athlete in NBA history...

And

6-9 5/8ths without shoes
7-4 wingspan
10.5" length hands (longer than Wilt's or MJ's hands by an inch)
215lbs (rookie) 222-228lbs (prime) 230lbs in his twilight, 240lbs final season. That's his "i don't lift weights" body... Put him on HGH or put him in the weight room and he could be walking around at 250 like any other modern big if he wanted too
