I look at Iman Shumpert. He came back months ago and look how long it took him to get back to normal. Rose has an even bigger responsibility so if he doesn't feel like he come back and effectively contribute then so be it.

Not the same thing at all. Roy was red flagged during the draft process for bad knees.
This. Shump came back in February and it took this long to resemble how he was last year. And he doesn't even get a lot of minutes at that. Plus he mostly plays off the ball. Shump does a fraction of what Rose does on the court and it still took shump a ton of time. nikkas don't get it but I respect rose sitting out.

If Rose was gonna come back it should've been at least 2 months ago. Shumpert wasn't the same defensively when he came back. Physically he wasn't the same. He's been a streaky shooter since he's been a Knick so I'm not refering to the stats. I'm refering to this physical skills. Some of the cuts, runs, etc. He plays like he's not favoring anything or he's trying to avoid certain moves. Rose is still at that phase where he's thinking about it.

I can tell most of y'all never even played sports or been hurt before. It usually takes around a year to just get back to NORMAL everyday things, not even thinking about ball. Rose should set his own timetable, why the fukk would he put his knees in the hands of someone else?
