So he's taking away Fennessey and Ryan (editors and contributors) from Grantland



I wonder how hard will ESPN try to keep a guy like Zach Lowe.

It makes no sense for Lowe to leave ESPN for HBO...Some of the other Grantland guys do politics and pop culture. Lowe is strictly a hoops guy.. What type of resources would he have if he left?

He's not gonna be interviewing Jon Hamm and Lena Dunham like Simmons or Andy Greenwald.

Lowe is pretty big in the NBA world though, he got his own resources.. he is probably more comfortable with ESPN. Losing editors for Grantland is big
