If you're Minnesota, what more can you ask in return for Kevin Love than the #1 draft pick and future superstar Andrew Wiggins? Certainly no chance of getting anything else close in any trade and you get to jumpstart your franchise's new era with the incredibly exciting tandem of Wiggins and LaVine, whose games and mentalities seem like they could mesh well in a Durant and Westbrook kind of way. "fukk me :beli: " instantly becomes "fukk yeah :krs: " Flip also loves Wiggins.

And for Cleveland, you get the ultimate piece to bring the Prodigal Son back home. Cleveland is already the top destination in consideration were Bron to leave Miami. Now you give him the prospect of a legitimate new "Big Three" of him, Love and Kyrie that is dynamic, compatible and young enough to be perennial contenders to win ships in Bron's hometown for the rest of his career. Love and Irving are also already good friends having worked together on the Uncle Drew series.

Seems like ideal situation for everybody. Who says no?

Love says no cuz he already said he won't sign a long term deal with Cleveland

Wrong. He said he'd sign a long term extension if LeBron was on the team. Which is why as long as Wiggins isn't signed under contract we can still move him to Minnesota for Love after we gauge LeBron's interest after meeting with him which was always the plan of our front office in the first place. If LeBron isn't interested, we keep Wiggins and build. If he is, we trade him to Minnesota with a couple of other pieces and have a new big three.

Love says no because LeBron stays in Miami. I know Love will say yes if LeBron commits to Cleveland — but I don't think Love sways LeBron.

Even though in 2014 and beyond:
Kyrie/Love >>>> Wade/Bosh

LeBron is a very smart guy and he should see that, too, but I don't think his "PR judgment" would let him switch teams again.

I'm not one of the Cavs fans to think he's coming back but you honestly think he'd get bad PR for coming back home? That's nuts. The only logical decision if he were to leave Miami would be to come back to Cleveland because he wouldn't receive any backlash. Not to mention, he can always bring his old quote of

"I have a goal and its a huge goal and that's to bring an NBA championship to Cleveland and I won't stop until I get it.”

at the press conference. Unfinished business

On the contrary, Cleveland is like the ONLY team that he could jump to and face almost zero scrutiny because the story would be he's going home and trying to finally fulfill his destiny of bringing championships home to Cleveland. Everyone would absolutely eat that up.

Wiggins is a Duffy client.

LaVine is a Duffy client.

Flip tosses Bill Duffy's salad.

1 + 1 + 1 is?
See and I didnt even realize this, add it to the pile. This is a hypothetical scenario but it almost makes too much sense to not happen :patrice:

@QuarterCenturyLegend @GoddamnyamanProf I agree Cleveland is the one place where he'd face the *minimal* media backlash, but it would still be there. Jumping from one "super-team" to another, given Love follows. And I don't agree with that notion, just thinking for the idiots who would subscribe to that idea. In the end, LeBron will never make the critics happy tho smh.

Concur. But this team has a face of Kyrie. If he were to come back, in my opinion, he'd be the leader of the team, guiding Kevin and Kyrie to a place they've never been before. For one, the playoffs, secondly the championships they desire. The biggest difference from jumping to Miami from Cleveland was D-Wade already had a championship and from everything I gathered at the time; was their Batman (during the first two years). And not to mention, I think this is lost on a lot of people... Northeast Ohio, Cleveland to Akron-Canton.... The majority are Cavs fans. Some Akron residents were so upset with "The Decision" at the time, they disowned Bron which is still baffling to me but I mention this because to have two championships in Miami, that'll never compare to bringing one here. It's a hunger, a goal that seems inconceivable. He's God there. It messed him up to see people from his city turn heel, but to bring one in this area... (last championship was 1964 with the Browns) I think the national media would even give points to his legacy because he was the foundation of such. That's just my personal feeling

with that said it won't happen. It's just not gonna happen

I just want them to get it over with and trade Love for a maxed out Klay Thompson, an overpaid David Lee and Harrison fukking Barnes so the #FreeRicky movement can begin in earnest

Man, I'm about to 27 in September. My pops was 14 last time Cleveland won a championship. At this point, I just hope my father can witness another championship before he passes. That's my only wish

Cleveland provides a bit of a cushion though. He can play the hometown hero card.

Wiggins + Dion + Bennett + two #1s for Kevin Love + Budinger

No one could beat that offer. Plus, Minny looks good with that squad going forward. My favorite new team out West.

Dion
Wiggins
Bennett

You forgot Diet Sabo.

And Cleveland doesnt need to throw in any of that shyt, breh. Minny getting #1 pick Wiggins for Love straight up already blows away any damn Klay Thompson-ass offers they've been entertaining.
