Toni Kukoc can dish 9 assists on 3 turnovers agaisnt the US team in the gold medal game. Tell me Lebron can't do better than that.

Of course the game would be closer..But if you think the talent gap between Croatia and '12 is enough to make up the 30 point difference, why wouldn't the talent gap between Spain and '92 be enough to make up a 7 point difference?

That was the one freak game they were off.

But of course, you're giving one off game 50% of your attention to prove your point.

It was just one off game. More than likely, they'd be on.

If the Croatian team can shoot over 50% from three and their best players over 60% against the 92' team, there's no doubt that the 2012 American team can outperform that two fold.

Spain's bigs gave this team problems. The dream team bigs are better. Pippen and Jordan are obviously light years ahead of Rudy and Navarro. Magic is light years ahead of Calderon.

The only argument is cohesion and if this game was played in an era where international ball is taken seriously the dream team would be familiar with one another.

To answer your question.. A team with Wilt, Russell and Kareem in their prime would beat a team full of guards and swingmen from any era....
