Is he supposed to say "no comment" then hang up? :dead:

No hes supposed to make an incredible reach comparing to another declined player in another sport with very little in common with the sport or player hes commenting on....

which is why i said its very easy to take shot at them. And about Cowherd, he really believes the sht he's saying :scust: I dont think u can categorize flawed logic as trolling :heh:

:usure:That freudian slip though...

Nah man he's trolling

Listen to all his takes, it's always delivered to get a reaction. There's nothing neutral about it

He often mentions Rush Limbaugh and Howard Stern and we all know those two are the GOAT radio trolls

He knows what works on the radio breh. And being bland ain't it

I agree, and I find it funny when people take the bait

What was Mike Trouts OPS a dozen games into last year ?

Puljos drop off was apparent 16 games into the season?
Depends on what you're looking at. You can't look just at results in a vacuum, but there are things you can recognize early on, for ex. a decline in bat speed. (Not saying that's what happened with Pujols, I wasn't following it closely enough at the time)

Same thing with Bron, he's been playing below the basket, doesn't look as explosive. Several announcers/commentators/analysts have mentioned the same thing.

And YES. Common sense says it's too soon.

Too soon for what?

Its not too soon to report on what you see. Simmons didn't draw any conclusions, he simply stated an observation that everybody can see. Nobody outside of this board is saying he's done or in decline.

He didn't say Bron was the next Pujols, or that his career was done

was the clip from the zach lowe podcast yesterday? i listened to the whole thing and don't even remember the comments. Simmons speculates all the time on his podcast and has crackpot theories, so it didn't even register with me. it was a bytch move by Golic, but at the same time it's not worth getting suspended over. he'll probably be on the show tomorrow to "patch" things up. wouldn't put it past ESPN to pull this type of stunt for ratings.

:dead: if Simmons gets suspended again and has to miss the 2nd episode of the grantland basketball hour.

LeBron DOES look different this year. He isn't nearly as explosive as years past and has struggled getting around people early in the season. His defense has been pretty bad too. I don't know how anyone can rip Simmons for this when these are things anybody who's watched him play can verify.

Maybe he's injured, but something is definitely off with him right now.

:whoa: it's too early to talk about what you've seen
