I don't think Simmons cares. He's never been afraid to share his opinion and it's not like this is his first war with ESPN. The only reason ESPN keeps him and gives him all the power that they do (the Grantland) thing is because he's one of the few people that could hurt ESPN if he went to another sports site, channel, etc.
He also brought up Goodell covering up Spygate and destroying the evidence
Like I said before wasn't nothing gonna happen to Goodell. ESPN would fall in line and so would TMZ with they so called bull shyt smoking gun. The NFL is king kong of this shyt. Any time a commissioner of a fukking league can do a press conference and have all the networks on tv and cable cover this live like he the president you know these ain't the ones to fukk with.
They had to suspend him once he dared them. What he said otherwise ain't anything worse than what Olbermann has said on air.

Bill Simmons is a made man, the guy went from writing a weekly column as to why the Red Sox suck to Hosting the NBA Finals all in a span of 10 years
He don't have to care. But I bet his monkey ass watch his mouth when he speaks about the NFL and Goodell again. Trust on that.....the NFL has crushed folks many times. That is why folks step lightly when it comes to them.
