She got that TI co-sign. Miley had that Mike Will Made it co-sign. Nikki's got that Cash Money Young Money co-sign. And like I said a month or two ago, that's the state of 'biggest female rap stars' right now. And why others said Nikki went more 'urban'. One of these things is not like the other -- except she is. The counterfeit cannot compete with the original, unless more people identify with the counterfeit.

We'll see if this shyt lasts through to the Grammys and a repeat of Macklemore, or if something happens later this year to nip it in the bud. Those heads in the know, what's down the pipe for black music this year?

this was on my TV when i went to program the DVR to record Mad Men.

i saw a performance by some group called florida georgia line that was only the udeenth confirmation that american culture is 100% over. like, absolutely finito. we now have country tinged boy bands doing bad paul wall impersonations complete with bad rap hands/moves and mannerisms.

Florida Georgia Line is to country as Macklemore is to rap/hiphop. Your second to last sentence --"we now have country tinged boy bands doing bad paul wall impersonations complete with bad rap hands/moves and mannerisms" -- is extremely accurate as it relates to them.

It doesn't matter because a certain demographic of women dig them. That same demographic of women also dig that stupid ass 'timber' song and still think Flo Rida is relevant, but .

As for Paul Wall. I was listening to 'sitting sidewayz' recently and damn near had to pour one out in sorrow. Those fools wish they could touch Wall.
