Not reading this whole thread so it probably could have already been mentioned, but you could have simply checked how they came about that list:

Knuckles Red's Official Top 10 Artists Of All Time List:

  1. Miaechel Jaxon [Reason: The King of Pop. What more can be said?]
  2. Lady Gaga [Reason: shes been at the vanguard of gay rights before it was "popular," and literally reset humanity with the release of The Fame Monster]
  3. Rae Sremmurd [Reason: They made rap music cool again, and cultivated an inclusive, diverse fan base, of all sexualities, that makes listening to their music feel "guilt free"]
  4. Celine Dion [Reason: Truly the voice of an angel. Where Mariah and Whitney failed, Celine prevailed. And that's the way it is!]
  5. Britney Spears [Reason: There would be no Rihanna, Beyonce, Aaliyah without the one and only, Miss Britney Spears. She is a trailblazer, and now she is #free]
  6. Luther Ronzoni Vandross Jr. [Reason: Every time I listen to this man's music, I can feel his arms wrapped around me. My spirits howl at the moon when his smooth, sensual voice enters my body. *moans*]
  7. Sade [Reason: Sexy, classy, adult, but still cool!!! Sade makes me want to have sex, smoke a cigarette and read a nice book in my cozy bed. An icon, she is!!]
  8. Taylor Swift [Reason: Taylor Swift is to pop music what Tupac is to rap music. A legend who will inspire future generations for years to come. She has always risen above triumph, and delivered a discography that is unmatched by her peers. A shining beacon of hope in my darkest hour. We love you, Miss Swift!!!]
  9. Janet Jackson [Reason: She was the blueprint. She opened the door for the Queen of Pop Music, Britney Spears, to walk through. Good for you, Miss Jackson!!! And I'm nasty...]
  10. Beyonce [Reason: She might not be the best singer, dancer, or actor, individually, but average scores add up. Beyonce has proven to be a force for over two decades. She deserves this spot. Good job!!!]

Lmao at Janet even being on the list let alone above MJ.
That's what I'm saying lmao. Make it make sense. If this is just some sort of cumulative amount of weeks on the charts they don't need to call it "top ten artists of all time". Feels like bait.

We have to be better than emotional cacs posting before reading anything and looking like buffoons

This is going by how many No 1’s on billboard not on subjective music quality.

Nah I still have to disagree. They're picking and choosing

How can this person with all of these Billboard records be #8?

From wikipedia
  • Jackson (aged 11 years, 155 days or 11 years, 5 months, and 2 days) is the youngest vocalist ever to top the Hot 100. As part of the Jackson 5, he topped the charts with "I Want You Back" on the week of January 31, 1970.[2][3]
  • Jackson's Thriller (1982) remained at the top on the Billboard 200 album chart for thirty-seven weeks, setting a record for the longest run at number one by a studio album.[4] It is only one of two albums to have sold more copies in the United States than any other in two separate years, topping the sales charts in 1983 and 1984.
  • Thriller is currently the second best-selling album of all time in the United States and the second most certified album after the Eagles' Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975), with total units of 33 million sold to date.[5]
  • Jackson's Bad (1987) remained at top 5 on the Billboard 200 album chart for thirty-eight weeks, setting a record for the longest run at top five by an album from a male solo artist.[6]
  • In July 2009, three of Jackson's albums (Number Ones, The Essential Michael Jackson and Thriller) claimed the top three positions on Billboard's Top Pop Catalog Albums and Top Comprehensive Albums charts in the week following the singer's death.[7] marking the first time any catalog album outsold the number album on the Billboard 200. Additionally, eight of the top nine positions on Top Pop Catalog Albums were owned by Jackson, with a ninth held by a Jackson 5 hits collection. This made Jackson the only solo artist to achieve such feat.[7][8]
  • Jackson was the first artist to launch seven top ten singles off one album.[9]
  • Jackson's Bad is only one of two albums where five singles off one album topped the Billboard Hot 100.[9]
  • Jackson became the first recording artist to land number one singles in three decades after "Black or White" topped the Billboard Hot 100 in December 1991. His first number-one single, "Ben", topped the Billboard Hot 100 in October 1972.[10]
  • Jackson became the first artist to simultaneously top Billboard's album chart and the number one single on both the pop and R&B charts, with Thriller and "Billie Jean" in the week of March 5, 1983.[11]
  • Jackson had more number-one singles than any other recording artist in the 1980s with ten singles.[2]
  • Jackson's "You Are Not Alone" made him the first artist to have a song debut atop the Billboard Hot 100 in September 1995.[12]
  • Jackson holds the record of longest span of number ones for a male act in the Billboard Hot 100 with a span of 25 years and seven months.[13]
  • Jackson has had 14 number-one singles on Billboard's Hot 100, making him the male artist with most No. 1 Hits in the Hot 100 era.[14] Including Pre- Hot 100, Jackson follows Elvis Presley for the most number ones by a male artist and ranks fifth overall.
  • Jackson has 30 top ten singles on the Billboard Hot 100, with Drake, Madonna, the Beatles, and Rihanna having more.[15]
  • Jackson currently holds a record for the longest span of top forty singles on the Billboard Hot 100 in a span of 46 years and eight months, with his debuting solo single, "Got to Be There", entering the chart on November 6, 1971, and his posthumous duet with Drake, "Don't Matter to Me", first charting on July 14, 2018.[16][17]
  • Jackson is the only act to have top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 across five consecutive decades (1970s–2010s)[18] and six consecutive decades including his work with the Jackson 5 (1960s–2010s) when "I Want You Back" charted at No. 8 on the week of December 27, 1969, in the Billboard Hot 100.[17]

the ether
:mjpls:is all that is needed

You know why :mjpls: they have an agenda

I seen grown ass people faint in the mere presence of MJ, never seen no shyt like that before in my life. The utter disrespect

MJ should be #1 and Pac should be on here..

where's marvin gaye, where's george clinton, james brown? move the beatles, madonna, elton, elvis out. Move up the real artist.

fukk this list

MJ should be number 1

They set it up like a value scale.

White -> mixed -> black.

Edit: and where is the billboard tweet?

I saw that too... literal brown paper bag shyt

I think it’s a fake list

Michael Jackson at number 8 :laff::laff::laff:

This gotta be fake

Are these solo or overall?
Where's Wayne?

He’s black.

An obvious cac list.

The king of pop in the bottom 3 outranked by cacs that bit music we invented :mjlol: fukk AAAAAALLLLL the way out of here :russ:

The fact that 1-4 are white and 5 is half white shows you their mentality... "if we have to choose THEM, they'll be last"

fukkers are trying to rewrite history.

Madonna is not a great artist. I don’t think many serious music fans hold her in that kind of esteem.

It seems like an early 40’s cac.

I don’t take any list like that seriously if Michael Jackson isn’t at least in the top 3.

fukk that list and all cacs involved

They literally put all the black artist at the bottom of the list/back of the bus :mjpls:

and them having Janet higher than her brother is a way for them to not place him higher…we all know he was a bigger phenom than everyone on the list

Even Stevie can see that theyre wrong. Get the motherfaluja outta here with that

elton, janet and rihanna dont belong in the top 10. michael should be somewhere in the top 3 and im not even really a fan of him.

They love downplaying black artists :shaq2:

LMAO @ Rihanna

Yikes...no Sam Cooke in the top 3 and Michael Jackson below yokels...lol

I love Rihanna. I mean I love that chic and want to eat her out passionately while maintaining steady eye contact.

With that being said, what the HELL is she doing on this list?:dahell:

Madonna is so fukking overrated

mike got 32 top 10 hits and 13 number one hits but is fukking 8th on the list :russ: but elton john got 27 top ten hits and 9 number ones and is number 3 :stopitslime:

shyt, Whitney Houston and Prince were bigger than Madonna. Janet might’ve been as well.

All y'all talking crazy angry when this is literally the charts list. :bryan:

It shows how prone some of y'all are to conspiracies when you talking with certainty that you know what the conspiracy is despite the list not even being subjective.

Mike has 32 Top 10s, plus the criteria is stated differently for damn bear every artist. Top 10s for some, Number 1s for others. This seems subjective

They're just naming different high points for each artist, the Billboard lists are based on some sort of cumulative points (how many weeks each song was at #1, #2, #3, etc. all the way down) which they obviously can't fit into a summary.
