Additionally, some of these producers mentioned didn't break artists.

That's a whole other difficult task to do.

That means rather than spend your time grinding trying to make beats for an established artist, you went out and recognized the talent in a no-namer and built something together.

JD Produced

Kris’s Kross album-multi platinum,
Da Brat album-multi platinum
Lil Bow album-multi platinum.
Money ain’t a Thang- Mulit platinum
Welcome to Atlanta-Multi platinum

And that’s just off the top of my head.

That alone should earn him a spot somewhere on that list.

You are lying to yourself if you think otherwise.

Trackmasters aren't on the list either and they helmed the following:

LL Cool J- Mr. Smith

Nas- It Was Written

Foxy Brown- Ill Na Na

Will Smith- Big Willie Style

Notorious B.I.G.- "Juicy"

Nas- "Hate Me Now"

Method Man- "You're All I Need" remix

Mike Will had a short run. If you put him on there Southside would have to be included too.

Might get negged but I feel like Zaytoven should be on here too.

Mike Will's run>>>> Zay and his run wasn't short:

B.o.B.- We Still In This
Juicy J- Bands
Kanye- Mercy
2 Chainz- No Lie
Rae Sremmurd- No Flex Zone
Rae Sremmurd- No Type
Future- Move That Dope
Kendrick Lamar- Humble
Kendrick Lamar- DNA

I fail to see how Zaytoven had a better run or how he's Top 25. Every producer we think is dope isn't top 25. There's only 25 spots.

Funniest things about these lists:

This is their top 50 music producers of the 21st century.

They got Mike Will a top 5 producer of all-time 2 years ago and now isn't even in their top 25 Hip-Hop producer list, but you had them in your top 10 list for making hip-hop?

End of the day like who you like. There really is no definitive "GOAT" producer list. That's why these arguments are funny :mjlol: :heh:

They got Mike Will a top 5 producer of all-time 2 years ago, hasn't dropped anything real notable since then and now isn't even in their top 25 Hip-Hop producer list, but you had them in your top 10 list for making hip-hop?

That wasn't all time. It was Top 50 producers of the 21st century which is basically since 2000. That list was moreso based on hit songs.

And again, they kind of shoehorned The Neptunes to the forefront.

My bad sai 21st century. Nonetheless, Mike Will #5 on that list but not on the Top 25 Hip-Hop producers at all?

That's a joke :mjlol: :heh:

Other Hip-Hop producers further down that list made it onto the Hip-Hop list over Mike Will :mjlol: :heh:

I would have Mike Will on the Hip Hop list. They may feel he had a greater impact overall than he did in just Hip Hop. Can never ve sure of the criteria, reasoning, or rationale they were using.

They're simply inconsistent breh.

That's why you can't put much weight on what they say (or what anybody says really).

shyt changes depending on the day. No reason overthinking it tbh.
