Oh my number was off, it sold for 2.5 billion. That makes the bonus an even smaller percentage. When your 20 person company sells for 2.5 billion nobody in there should ever have to work again if they don't want to. Period. You can't even come off 1% to change the lives of your employees for generations? No wonder this guy is a social outcast and depressed, he has no social awareness whatsoever.

You know how ridiculous it sounds to have sold a company for 2.5 billion dollars and complain that you can't hang with your friends and family because they have to work.

First and foremost, he gave them that $3 million dollars TWO (2) whole years before he even sold Mojang for 2.5 billion. That 3 million was his stock dividend money. The story you're selling about him only given them $3 million out of 2.5 billion isn't even accurate given that the sale hadn't even occurred with Microsoft yet. Google is your friend.

Second of all, they weren't entitled to shyt but their pay check but he gave HIS money away.

Fam, my one big ignorant spending spree would be to get the hottest producers in rap, pen my own lyrics and hooks, then when I drop my album pay stations to play that shyt nonstop. That shyt would be pure hot garbage and I'd buy all my albums back so that it's the best selling rap album of all-time. I'd have various diss tracks going at all those rappers who talk about how much money they got, calling them broke nikkas, and one of my tracks would be me just reading off the elements on the periodic table :blessed:

or you can open up shyt-ass Pet fukkers franchises

Seriously though, if I was a billionaire I'd just go to school for fun. Get a degree in anything I'm interested in. Shyt, why not? With all your basic needs met, you have all the time in the world to learn whatever you want. The reason most people can't do this is because they have to worry about supporting themselves. Being already rich takes away all that stress and lets you focus entirely on your studies. You will never get bored learning new stuff because it's a never-ending goal.

If I had a billion dollars, I'd invest and read all day. I'd have a library like this: :wow:

From what I read he gave 2 million spread out to the 20 or so employees he had at the time, so they each received around 100k pounds. Ok so many of you say that's great, nobody can be upset over a 6 figure bonus but let's do some math here. Giving each employee 100k out of 1.5 billion is giving .006% of his payout to each person as a bonus. In normal people money if you made 50k a year it would be equal to you giving someone 3 dollars as a bonus. :russ: You can't even buy lunch with that. I bet his former staff could do the math and saw that shyt was a slap in the face. If in had a 20 person company and sold it for 1.5 billion I would give each person at least 2 million, and it still wouldn't hurt my pocket a bit. That and the fact that his close friends still work show you what type of person he is.

Why is he paying 45 million for a mansion and partying in Ibiza with people he doesn't know while his friends are working a 9-5?

Well for one.....you're not entitled to anything. Nobody owes you a damn thing in this world.

For two.....you don't know the ins and outs. Maybe it was his idea that he developed entirely and his employees were brought on much later after the creative process was already finished. Why should they get billions for something he thought up? Because it's nice to do :heh: Maybe in the beginning he tried to give the workers equity instead of a set salary but, of course, like most people they took the salary. Now they crying foul :comeon: This stuff is usually set in stone. They agreed to equity agreements and cap tables for the company. Why weren't they complaining then? Like I said, you don't know the whole story. And as someone trying to get my own company off the ground, I know how dikkish "techies" can be. They don't believe in your shytty idea/company. They want to get paid. They don't want ownership stake. They want to get paid. So don't get mad when years later you don't get the massive payout you think you deserve.

There's so many things I'm passionate about that even if I had a billion dollars I would still work

I said this in another thread

but with billions I'd probably buy a basketball or football team and focus all my energy into trying to win a championship or I could pursue my interest in acting and never have to worry about money and wait tables like most actors. I really could do it totally for the love. I definitely wouldn't DJ anymore but there's a million things I can think of that I would love to do that would give me a purpose in life.

I could see myself doing this job if I hit the lottery for like a million.....Maybe take all the classes and learn this and try to work my way into being a GM.

you're missing the point... HE is the one posting this shyt... not them or his friends

if he's so sad and doesn't like how he feels or it feels or how he's lonely with no friends...........

well he's got money to change all that... and live the life that would make him happy.. there is NOTHING as a rich man, that he couldn't be doing if he made 15k a year.. he can stash that in the bank and live his life as a 50k a year dude if he wanted... or pay his friends to live like millionaires

instead he's complaining online and changing it how? this is one of these "damn i'm having a bad day" type of posts... that people are translating into, "wow he must feel like this everyday and is tortured"

no... if it was that bad, he'd change it for real.. not cause he's nice... but to improve the life he's "complaining" about

He didnt have to give them 1 cent. And it was 3 million, not 2.

Who wouldnt want a 100K bonus. A bonus. :dead:

:dead: @ being given 100K a slap in the face. I wish someone would slap me in the face like that

And this is exactly what I was getting at. Money creates problems. Have people look at you funny for what you didnt give them rather than what you did.

A 100k bonus is a slap in the face for a 20 person company that sold for 2.5 billion
