With that kind of cash, you could just buy the entire site and have a data center in your mansion storing all the data, and directly access all content without having to stream it over the Internet.

Well, I guess I would just buy Evasive Angels and just be the owner, but leave the directing, producing and editing to the pros. I would write some of the scripts though. Maybe do the lighting, stage, music, and costumes.

I wouldn't make an EA college football game. I would have a first person marching band game. It would be like rockstar and DDR, but you are in a marching band corps. You have to march on a dance dance revolution type floor pad and play music akin to rockband on a drum pad. Sounds faggy but I think it would be fun if you did it right. It would be NCAA college marching band. You pick the college, go on the same field that EA NCAA football uses, so you don't have to redraw the stadium. Maybe for more advanced play, you could play quints.

I already laid out the math. The company sold for 2.5 billion and each of the 20 or so employees received about 150,000 pounds as a bonus. 3 million in total bonuses amounts to .12% of the total sale. If they took even 1% of the sales and spread it out as a bonus each person would have received over 1 million pounds. So don't tell me your main focus was making sure the employees were taken care of when you couldn't even come off 1% of your earnings to change the course of their lives and their children's lives forever. This clown parties in Beverly Hills and Ibiza with people he doesn't know and then complains that he feels lonely because his friends and family have to work. There is a reason this guy was a basement dwelling outcast before his game blew up.

If all it took was 1% of my money to ensure my folks didn't want for anything in life I would give it without hesitation. I donate a higher percentage of my money to charities that benefit people I don't know than he did to the employees that helped him grow his company to a 2.5 billion dollar evaluation.

One of the employees actually responded to the twitter post and said that he was pissed because Notch quit/sold the company...not because he didn't give them money. They didn't want him to leave (at least that person didn't). Other than that employee saying that under that very same twitter post, who know why others were pissed, but he did his job and in the deal made sure they couldn't get fired (they are employees NOT the investors or the entrepreneurs). Maybe you should do in depth interviews with the people that were pissed about him selling HIS company. That seems to be the only reason they were pissed.

Also, he's complaining because that is what people do sometimes; complain. What else are you looking for? His VERY BEST FRIEND, Jakob Porser has like a half billion dollars from the very same sell; maybe Jakob still likes to work like plenty of other millionaires. It seems that Notch doesn't want to work though (and he doesn't have too...his hard work has made him a billionaire). There was a whole group of people (his white guys friends) that were a part of the sale. It seems that they all got money. Maybe, just maybe they aren't purposeless like him and still want to work.

Here are the guys that sold the company to microsoft (his friends with one of them being his BEST friend).

Maybe, just maybe they have dedicated themselves to something meaningful and don't WANT to hang out with him all the time. Maybe, just maybe it has nothing to do with him paying his friends to be his friends and everything to do with him not having any meaning (and everyone else around him does).
