Why are folks getting fired in these 2 yr deals so often? Its as if GMs and owners truly believe that a whole team and its culture can be turned into Pittsburgh, New England, Kansas City, Denver in one season; if not, we'll find someone who can :stopitslime:. Every team that operates the HC position like a carousel is a perennial loser and will stay that way until that get a solid foundation

Teams have no patience and have no clue how to build a winning franchise IMO. How's a player gonna take direction from a coach that will probably get canned shortly? Hard to build a foundation like that.

Rex didn't have the foresight to see that the Bills job was a shytty job.

deserved the deavors just for that

I mean he had good players and talent seems good to me
His whole MO seemed like he wanted to get back at the Jets and face them twice a year. There were a number of coaching job available. He could have even sat out a year. Everybody knew what was up with the team and he would have gotten another chance eventually.

He and his agent knew this was prob the last HC gig he'd get, and it would've been idiotic to turn down a $5MM a year gig for 5 years.

Any team who hires dude as an HC moving forward is just doing it for headlines at this point.
