This about traumatic and debilitating brain injury though, not death. In many ways that's a worse outcome for men who retire at age 35 and have to live the rest of their lives with brain injury.

No its not. They were talking about Sammy Watkins and his foot injuries. Head injuries weren't even the topic of discussion when he made his statement. Folks don't know how to listen and they took this and ran with it thinking his comments were about cte but they weren't.
