I think it's pretty standard. He's at least as good as Tannehill and he's getting somewhere around therein no way knocking Ty getting that $$; was thinking from the Bills standpoint - dont think Ty couldve gotten that $$ anywhere else

Final numbers mean nothing in NFL contracts. Only numbers that matter are the guaranteed and signing bonus. Sounds like essentially a 1 year deal that will keep paying him well if he remains the starter but will have him getting cut quick if he's not
$15 million + guaranteed for Tyrod the first year is still a nice come up even if he gets hurt or it doesn't work out in Buffalo

i was actually expecting him to get a 2-3 year deal. let's hope he stay healthy though.
It pretty much is a 2 year deal. He will have to really stink it up this year to get bought out in year 1, but I expect them to buy him out in year 2 if he doesn't rank in the top half of NFL starting QBs.
I wish him the best. He is capable of becoming something special, but I think It's going to be hard for him to play up to his potential AND stay healthy though.
