Its funny in the NFL you see tons of moves like these that are more for management job safety than actually improving the team. The GM is thinking "well McCown might get us 8-8 so my job will probably be safe. Better than risking it with an unknown". Thats basically the only logical line of thinking when teams go after these journeyman QB's. But if ur a fan of the team why would u even care about the season when McCown's your QB

Matt Moore, Ryan Mallett, and possibily Tyrod Taylor only because he's an unknown commodity. Yes it does, if the Bills don't make the playoffs with their defense along with Rex's defensive scheme in a weak AFC, it's gonna be a short tenure for Rex.

The sad part is that I'd still feel more comfortable with Josh McCown leading my team than EJ Manuel
