I think Chauncy has more left than a lot of you guys think. When he returned to the floor last season he was knocing down 3's and making assists. It just that those injuries really fukked things up. If he can get over those, then he'll make a significant contribution.

However, I thought he'd go to OKC and take up that Derek Fisher role and do it better. CHI and NY can offer vet minimum contracts, and they all have a better shot at the title.I guess Chauncey didn't want to play for the minimum though.

I really like this signing. Team needs some vet leadership from a real leader who's done something in this league. Didn't want them looking to Smoove for that role. If he can come in and knock down a few 3s on occasion off the bench then that's just gravy. Plus with the combination of him and Cheeks we finally have some pg vet guidance who excelled at the position to help mentor Knight.
