Terrible casting. I assume this is gonna be some off brand low budget shyt cuz there's a thousand actual talented black actors that would kill for this role. Casting a 60 year old drag queen just cuz they're both LGBT is crazy

He never denied or tried to hide his sexuality which was very brave in the time he was most active. Because of that people admire him for his contributions and bravery. Some people sensationalize it for good or bad reasons. I just hope this movie acknowledges that he's a whole person who is more than who he shared his bed with.

I never said you did say he tried to deny anything. I was just explaining why his sexuality is brought up so much.
