We have a history. It’s just been subjugated, distorted, and infantilized by white education. The worst thing to happen to black education was desegregation.

I'd definitely watch if it weren't for him and the age we're living in. Watched the documentary on him some years back in theaters. Baldwin's way with words is unrivaled

At some point we have to get past this. It's much more important for the actor to be able to translate the essence of a person onscreen than look exactly like them.
