Directing the President pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities in the Republic of Yemen that have not been authorized by Congress.

A new bipartisan bill to force a floor vote to end the illegal Yemen war was introduced in the House by Reps. Khanna, Massie, Smith, Jones, Pocan, and twenty-one other Reps.

There are key members of the House Democratic leadership backing the bill: Adam Smith, the top Democrat on Armed Services; Steny Hoyer, the number two Democrat in the House; Eliot Engel, the top Democrat on Foreign Affairs; Nita Lowey, the top Democratic appropriator.

Cosponsors - H.Con.Res.138 - 115th Congress (2017-2018): Directing the President pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities in the Republic of Yemen that have not been authorized by Congress.

Why would congress not make a stand on this issue. It's not getting the press it should, and is a far better midterm rally point. "Vote for me, I am fighting to get us out of a foreign conflict that is causing the widespread and deadly famine" Why can't these politicians do shyt right. It's sitting for them on a tee, and they keep whiffing at balls.

There're no sides to play against each other here. I blame the media. One day we're going to have a serious and honest discussion about the media, and not just FOX news either. I enjoy when Trump shyts on them because they are partially responsible for this monster and now they can't control it.

Military industrial complex has paid everyone off including the press. There's a reason companies like Boeing sponsor TV shows like Meet the Press and it isn't because the audience contains people buying airplane parts and complicated machinery. lol

Yep I heard this gem a while back. Why do they advertise prescription drugs? You have no say in what a doctor prescribes you and it’s much more efficient to target doctors
Or hospitals.
