Directing the President pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities in the Republic of Yemen that have not been authorized by Congress.

A new bipartisan bill to force a floor vote to end the illegal Yemen war was introduced in the House by Reps. Khanna, Massie, Smith, Jones, Pocan, and twenty-one other Reps.


There are key members of the House Democratic leadership backing the bill: Adam Smith, the top Democrat on Armed Services; Steny Hoyer, the number two Democrat in the House; Eliot Engel, the top Democrat on Foreign Affairs; Nita Lowey, the top Democratic appropriator.

Why would congress not make a stand on this issue. It's not getting the press it should, and is a far better midterm rally point. "Vote for me, I am fighting to get us out of a foreign conflict that is causing the widespread and deadly famine" Why can't these politicians do shyt right.
