consignment stores.
resellers gives the store the shoes, & the store puts the price on it based off hype & availability.
the sellers gets their percentage when the sneaker sells. (I think like 70%)

I'm sure shady managers do things like that, but the hustle is getting the pairs to resellers while the iron is hot. You can see people with car loads of sneakers before many of these stores even open.


Flight Club is just a popular consignment shop, it's only worth it if you don't care for the FC tax, need the shoes asap or are afraid of being burned on eBay or FB groups.

The employee discount is trash at flight club last I heard

So not sure they’d make much if they flipped sneakers on the side

I do think they have a private team to go out and buy sneakers at retail though ...so it’s like their reselling their own purchases
