there are ways to come up by not paying your mortgage. There's ppl who stay in houses for years not paying the mortgage. It may take years before the process plays out and they get forcibly removed from the house. Their credit goes to absolute trash, BUT if they saved their money, then they can buy them a new place w/ mostly cash. But that would require ALOT of saving from making ALOT of money.

Which in the case, if you were making ALOT of money, you'd be paying your mortgage to begin with.

Yea this isnt even the mortgage. It's another $12 million loan where he used his house as collateral that he defaulted on. Taking out an additional loan using your home as equity hints at cash flow problems. Defaulting on that loan confirms cash flow problems, especially when it's your primary place of residence. He's not broke by normal people standards but he probably has to tone down that lifestyle a few notches now.
This is getting worse and worse.
Was the house paid for outright?
If he had a mortgage on the house I would think they would be involved in this as well. :jbhmm:
Too many unanswered questions at this point :hubie:
