This man could've changed the entire trajectory of the rap game but he was too conscious and not ignorant enough to the get the push.

That and he came in at a time when skills where sliding down the pan and ringtone gimmicks were rising as he was a mid 90s MC stuck in the 00s.

Ironically I remember snoop embracing Kendrick and Nipsey and Cube had Kendrick use one of his most iconic songs as a sample on GKMC....Bishop just fukking sucked...sorry nikka but I wouldn't want you being the man I'm passing the baton off too either if I was them :manny:

Kendrick didn't really get push until around 2012 ish

The "New west" Era was more like the mid 2000s

What does that got to do with what I said.... Obviously my point was that if them dudes were actually nice like the Kendeicks and Nipseys they would have been embraced...shyt don’t matter if it was 5 years before Kendrick got “push”

Didn’t Snoop say something along the lines of “ain’t nobody wanna hear that shyt” in response to Detox being about Dre quitting smoking or whatever

Wish Bishoo Lamont got the kind of push Game or Kendrick got

I think he would’ve been ideal Dr. Dre ghostwriter, whereas Game couldn’t carry that weight and Kendrick is not good at writing for Dre as if Dre is Dre and not Kendrick
