Bizzle (Christian Rapper) Responds to Macklemore "Same Love"

Gave it a listen.
It's not good.

But, it's standard procedure -- if you agree with the views, you inflate the skills (sean hannity employs this bullshyt all the time - it's dumb). People are doing the same thing with "same love". They're wrong. Just like you are.

I will concede his point that gay rights aren't the same as the original civil rights movement. We haven't seen that level of violence against the gay rights movement. I get that.

Personally, I'd love to use this example to rail against christianity (or religion in general), simply because I'm not a fan. But, I know too many decent people who are religious. So I know that the spirit of religion - at least not in its modern form - isn't out here teaching this bigotry.

Frankly, I do find it a bit troubling that any group (women, minorities, even christians) that has gone through some level of persecution would even WANT to perpetuate that cycle of hate on another group -- no matter how someone is translating their holy book.
