Surprised at the amount of good songs on here, cause outside of his recent stuff with Wiz, I don’t think I’ve listened to Bizzy since 2002

bizzy's best solo album came out in 2004. alpha-n-omega.

he also dropped the greatest verse in hip-hop that year, on jim jones' "twin towers".

So what's this nikka story... I could tell how he acting something a lil off wit son. I bet he got a couple bodies under his belt. He sounded like he wanted to speak on it but he really didnt.. any interview s with him telling his life story?

most of it is in the music.

his music is like an audio-biography.

I might get hated for this but Flesh is not good as a solo artist, he has some gems here and there but he is better with the group or collabing with other Bone members.

• THUGS had incredible production but I hated that whisper flow of his had he rapped like he did on the Bone albums during that time then this album would have been insane
• 5DLL was ok
• Blaze of Glory was pretty ass apart from a couple of tracks.

I agree with the 2nd point.

he could be good solo if he simply ditched that fast whisper flow that hes been using since '96. nobody wants to hear that for an entire album, and I guess no one has the heart to tell him.

but hey, with the exception of layzie, I feel like all of them treated most of their solos as experimental projects instead of just giving the fans what they want.
layzie simply waited too late to do his solos, altho I feel like his 1st jawn is criminally underrated. my favorite bone solo.

Finally got around to listening to this, I've played it front to back 4 times now, it's pretty much flawless. This a strong contender for album of the year.

I stan Bone for life and I don't think I've ever seen or heard them talk about Lil Bizzy. I swear I was watching this thinking he meant that they were talking about his pops, but like @Wacky D said as soon as he says everybody's talking about him including his dad I was

Really is amazing to see his progression from when he was a smoked-out teenager to now as a grown man. Back in the day he'd be damn near slumped over during interviews because he was so high/drunk, now he's coherent and gives in-depth, well thought out answers.

Album is really good. I had a long drive today and usually I'll mess around and play different things, but I just kept riding with this. Only thing I would drop is the "Obama" interlude, but it is what it is.
