hold up we got Bjork fans on the coli :blessed:

she got a three-decade career now just making whatever music she wants, not giving any fukks
even dropped an a capella album not caring what a critic or audience says

collaborating with Toumani Diabate maybe my favorite musician alive

made possibly the GOAT music videos

Or make a new one

it would expose a whole lot.
with all the post recession wannabe revision around here.
they would not like the mirror to be held up on them.

as it is so many toys around here and in the world now.

they don't wanna be exposed for being more house than actual culture based hiphop.

so....making a thread would have little to no content.
as the people here not culture based no more like in the beginning of this community to have a great discussion on any good music.
let alone any really great definitive artist like portishead.

take this bjork thread for example.

when all this autotune rnb music made now is a low quality ripoff retread of bjork.
that i did not support back then in commercial ripoff groups.
plus i do not support now.

as real talk...bjork and portishead to hooverphonic are their own actual self contained genre based original artists.
where the rest of the shyt is just plain inferior biting.
that ain't even massive attack or maxinquaye level.

when bjork and portishead are levels ahead of massive attack and maxinquaye combined.

most music now is biter based bullshyt two decade dated and below the level of tricky's second album.
oh on autotune.

music generally sucks all across the board.
as it is all low quality ripoffs in some way of bjork and portishead.

Can't believe I'm just seeing this thread for the first time. She came into my life in 2007 and has been with me since.

Here's one of my favorites

Portishead albums feel more cohesive than massive albums. That kinda of happens when you feature a lot of different singers on one album.
I guess it's a matter of taste then, cause I don't mind albums not being fully cohesive as long as all the songs sound good on it.

Matter of fact, I get bored if an album tries too hard to stick to a sound/theme/vibe.

I feel you

On their own massive attack songs stack up well against portishead singles.
