Haha, agree it's an art, well we can disagree on the other part, because if you don't know what those clean ones look like, esp if we are talking about grabbing the whole thing, you don't know what you are doing. I used to say whenever I was out of my circle, just give me like 20 seconds with the work, and I'll tell you if I'll take it or not. The texture, scent, the layers, you just know. Open up the wrap from the bottom, make sure it's not flat down there. You can put stamps on the dummies, but only the best do that, so that's a tell to, but you can't just go off that. If you can crack it in half, that's better, a dummy one will be exposed right away, no shine, no layers, won't have that sound when you bust it. The game gets grimier though, you can ice the top 1/3 and have the rest be garbage. You can have fake shine and fake stamps, but you won't fool someone who knows the game more then once.
