That's New Yorkers for you though. White people sold black people a liberal pipe dream because all you need to pacify black is the illusion of inclusion all while lauding an anti-black brand of multiculturalism. Ask white, asian and other people of color definition of "diversity" and "multiculturalism" and it is vastly different from black people's definition. SMH New York blacks have always stuck their damn heads in the sand and even in this comment section they deflect it by stating the entire country is anti-black when for damn near 30 years southern blacks have been telling them the North East and what them negroes consider "prosperity" and "harmony" is damn right anti-black.
So what you get to live on top of each other and watch sirens blaring down the block. Nothing a black person from New York talks about is prosperity. It is all based around some culture that has yielded marginal results. Unfortunately this last little death cry against gentrification and other policies is just the painful realization that they've been duped.
