It's not that her party had zero confidence in her and undersold her campaign, leaving her in debt.

It's that when she was supposed to appear at Howard on election day and did not come out to speak to the Black people who were riding for her at a symbolic site, the premier HBCU, when she lost. That moment revealed everything about her character and ability to lead.
