That's the Amerikkkan dream. That's what the cats in the civil rights movement settled for, the right to chase that dream.problem is the goal still seems to be get out of the hood, get a non-black chick/dude, and live your individual happiness in the burbs. nobody is thinking about the collective race, their grand children, or what happens if these white folks completely flip their shyt.
how much of that money is spent and recycled into black products, black communities, black neighborhood, black corporations, black partnerships to prevent crime and unemployment and enhance more black spending, economy and autonomy?
I think jim brown said it best in his biography.
Think about it, people ( non blaack for this example) are willing to go in our neighborhood, set up shop and support a family by the mistakes that we make. They litteraly risk their life to make the money and briskly sweep it away from the community while we try to figure out how much these j's are or how can we save a dime by buying from him instead of her. Why is this even "acceptable" whereas a black man couldn't set up shop in a korean town or a slovackian neighborhood. But we continue to "not give a fukk" and "it is what it is" smh. I swear, the black dollar is powerful, if we only knew how to capitolize off it...TOGETHER!
