That’s not why. Outside interference from foreign countries and tribalism is why there’s chaos. Africa’s biggest problem is tribalism. Having multiple languages in one country will just cause problems. No first world nation all went through tribalism and and gotten past it. The Japanese did during the warring states period, the Chinese, the British. Everyone. Only Africans think it’s cool to segregate yourself from different people but still think you’re gonna be able to thrive as one nation. It’s a good thing, one language shouldn’t dominate over others. It’s why it’s chaos.
Props breh!I speak english, spanish, japanese, and msa arabic. English is obviously my first language. I grew up in the bronx surrounded by latinos, I've ever had a good ear so i picked up alot of spanish from my surroundings. During Junior High My spanish teacher was sexy and I was trynna suck up to her so I was her best student. Her lessons plus my upbringing pretty much ensured me to be a fluent speaker by the time I graduated 8th grade(took her classes for two years). I Taught myself Japanese during college using a method very similar to Khatzumoto's(look him up!) AJATT method even before I knew who he was. Japanese took me about 16 months to reach business level fluency because I was immersed in japanese media for that whole time period. Arabic came to me naturally growing up muslim and reading Quran and such. Some dialects are hard for me to understand tho but they understand me just fine because I speak a formal dialect while they speak regional ones while also being educated in formal arabic.
My advice for learning a language is to immerse yourself in media of the target language for a minimum of 16 hours a day(Sleep hours count. Play media in the target language while you sleep. This helps your brain familiarize with the sounds and accents of the language. Study sentences and not vocabulary. Meaning learn a word in its context and not as a stand alone. The definitions for the english words "Place" and "Site" are virtually the same but you wouldn't say "I Work at a construction place" instead of a construction site. Mistakes like that are very common when we only learn language vocabulary and not context.
They share a writing system(漢字). So learning one will make learning the other so much easier. I’d say it depends on you. I will say that languages are easier to learn when you’re having fun and genuinely interested in it. So maybe for you that’s Japanese?Props breh!
And thanks for sharing how you learn.
I speak 5 languages (lived abroad for many years) and am considering learning either Chinese or Japanese next.
Which one would you suggest? I think Chinese could be great for business opportunities, but I like the way Japanese sounds and feels way better.
Swahili is next. Amharic now because of a business opportunity.Op ahmaric out of all African languages
why not
swahili
Twi
Yoruba
Igbo
Lingala
Xhosa
Wollof
etc
He's trying to get that Ethiopian twat. I've seen all kinds of men try to shyt on Ethiopian men but then turn around and say "their women are beautiful". Deadass when I was in the navy I had a white coworker who would always tell me how much he enjoyed getting stationed in Djibouti because the women were beautiful. In the same breath he would talk about how the place was dirty. Women in Djibouti look similar to Ethiopians, they both horners.
I'm not Ethiopian I'm Congolese. I'm just telling you my experience from interacting with different people. I notice that people love to shyt on Ethiopian and Somali men but then turn around and fetishize their women. I've seen this in real life. locker room talk etc.Swahili is next. Amharic now because of a business opportunity.
Don't act like you know me nikka. I've had ethiopian bytches on my dikk before I even knew what amharic was and I say that with all due respect. Got two on the roster now. But thats because women are women and if she fine ima holla no matter her background. You never heard me disrespect no Ethiopian brehs on here. Only slick talking west africans who be on that "Akata" shyt. I'm peaceful until i'm disrespected. You nikkas think yall bytches the baddest in the world?![]()

Then why are you saying they should use it for unity. No ethnic group is going to throw away their language for use of a neighboring one that’s causes a power imbalance. This is why people in Africa rather adopt a foreign language as a 3rd party because it forces Everyone to be neutral. The only exception to this is Swahili seeing as it was a language specifically meant for trade And to break cultural barriersThat’s not why. You don't have to throw away your ethnic language. Just choose one for standard education and communication. Simple logic. Every culture does this. Do you know how many dialects are spoken worldwide but each nation a national language that they decided on to bring the people closer together? Why do you think this is a bad thing? Then why are you saying they should use it for unity. This where you’re getting it fukked up a dialect is completely different from a language. And not even Asian or European countries do what you said because of what I just mentioned. A lot of you have no idea how tied people are to their culture. World war 1 and world war 2 showed you guys what type of time it was did you not learn. Remember most ethnic groups had their own sovereignty before being forced into a singular nation due to European imperialism. It will never happen and for good reasonYou don't have to throw away your ethnic language. Just choose one for standard education and communication. Simple logic. Every culture does this.
