i had to click it breh... they know exactly what they are doing with these type of titles
now reading the whole article, i can understand their point.. it'd be one thing if we studied what these garbs meant and why and when they are worn
but it seems like any nikka from brooklyn will get a bootleg dashiki and start rocking it, not knowing where it comes from or what it means
now is it equal to what white people are doing... hell motherfukking nah... but i feel the same way when i travel outside the country and see africans dressing like american nikkas in the 90s, using a fake accent to try and bag bytches (true stories)
But this ain't the type of world we live in, which is why you'll see Africans dressing and bagging women like they're AA's. Both sides will try to identify or play on the similarities with one another, that can't be helped.
But the confusion melts away when you understand the history behind AA's and A's and interpret them as being, not entirely different races but as two fruits of the same tree – even if AA's and A's aren't that similar either.
My point being, if it's any race in the world that's gonna fukk around with African culture, may as well be AA's because fukk the other ethnicities which have nothing to do with us. And don't even come at me with that "We're all African" BS
