depends which island. they have a few that are 98% negritos. They are more related to bushmen, who are just about extinct in africa today due to the bantu expansions.

Um, very few filipinos in the U.S. Have African ancestory that they recognize. Curly hair and darker skin? Yes, for some, but they mostly identify as pacific islander or Asian.

With that said, my Dad was a racially black man traveling through Europe and Asia in the early 70s and he said no women showed him more love than filipina women. From my friend and family circle, Ive realized that just about everyone has a filipina aunt somewhere, they are extremely open to interracial marriage/dating.
