Damn I had no clue this existed. Will have to check it out
watching Out of Sight right now on PrimeThe style of this movie is incredible, compared to almost anything else. Just the opening shot was masterful. You miss that kind of confident direction. The lighting, the color schemes, the music, all classic Soderbergh. It's thrilling to see this in a theater, compared with the washed out colors of most shyt the last 10 years. The jazz score, reminded me of Grusin's classics in some of my favorites. But, it's the dude from Out Of Sight, which is a classic to me. This does feel vaguely like a 90's movie. A Perfect Murder or something like that. An exercise in style and nothing more.
I am biased because of how attractive Yasmin/Abela is to me, that's exactly who I go for - but she was excellent. Great scenes. The scene where she says "I'm not even saying no", she was sexy, funny, sharp, confident.
All killer no filler.
It's like a lean turkey wing.This.
Writing, shooting, editing, sound, everything was on point...and best of all, it doesn't overstay it's welcome.
ultimately, you'll get it, the endings predictableI'm about to watch this now. I expect mediocrity.
Saw this a couple of weeks ago. Was absolute piff. Had Fassbender moving like the grim reaper without having to tool up.
The therapy/breakup scene with Rege-Jean Page and Naomie Harris was pure jokes, though.
out chea for her to be running to Hoss
