it makes me wonder if some of these higher uppers in the black church are actually in cahoots AGAINST black people...

This is the problem not the religion.

Black preachers don't teach that God and Jesus are black and they should, the bible would actually back them up. Christianity was made by blacks but co opted and used against us. They are going to have to start preaching what's really in the word and not just the traditional scriptures.
