A lot of them don't pay salary even on taxes either.

Churches try to use this in their defense to "normalize" themselves to the public, but its complete bullshyt a lot of times.

Im mixed on churches.

1. They make tons of money and they barely pay property tax in many places...not to mention avoiding income tax.

2. They seem like really well run non-profits...

3. there are specific protections that give churches the ability to actually sell shyt AND avoid taxes...which takes it into business territory in many cases.
