How about we start injecting cash into the communities, investing in STEM programs for all kids in elementary school, how about actually allowing capital to flow into these neighborhoods BEFORE White people decide it’s time to move back and displace everyone? How about making sure people have good jobs that allow them to work and afford all their bills? How about that instead of blaming us for the bad apples in our community? You blame us for not telling the police but the police the main ones in some “stop snitching” shyt. You want us to fight against the gangs in our neighborhoods by running to the biggest gang in it? Gun violence needs a short term option for law abiding citizens. The community needs to prioritize law abiding citizens. The only people protected by silence are the guilty.

When people bring up gun violence and shyt why do folks always default to social economic conditions like gang members will just magically start filling up job applications given the opportunity.



This is just a way to duck the real conversation. Every time. Give the people another option besides calling the law then. Law abiding citizens have every right to be able to turn to the police they are not being afforded any options. Who kills more brehs which gang the blue or the black ones?

Philadelphia surpassed 301 murders today and the majority of them are unresolved due to fear and the community pact on no snitching. The city had an incident two nights ago where a male was shot in the chest point blank range with 15 people on the bus but nobody came forward. The police detective stated that they can't stop or solved these crimes without the people. This shyt is getting to uncharted levels right now in the community.

The misplacement is already ongoing in Philly even with the high murder rate. The city is so poor bro I don't know how you could fix this issue. Philly doesn't have the billionaires like NYC or the businesses of Atlanta. This has been in the making since the 60s but the type of crime and viciousness is on another level. Philly is the poorest big city in the country at over 20 plus percent.

Philly will pass the crack era murders this years.

When people said defund police, they meant funneling all the extra money they use to buy each officer their own 2020 dodge charger back to the black community and instead let each officer keep their 2014 dodge charger that still work perfectly fine. They had them crown vics for like 30 years and some still drive them. Why did they move on from them first gen chargers so quick? and why are there no longer two cops to a squad car? they call for backup everytime they pull somebody over anyway. Also if we are paying for all that military gear and ar's and riot gear for every cop. why are we still paying a premium for swat teams? they are just as well equipped as them now. Why are we paying police chiefs damn near 7 figures? Salaries are supposed to be competitive. there are plenty of other offices who would love to be chief and they would accept a 6 figure salary to do it. We got 70 year old police officers incapable of protecting anyone still working not because they can't afford retirement. But because the benefits are so good, that they are allowed to retire and get a pension and still somehow be allowed to freelance do nothing and get an additional income on top of that. Police are overfunded. when they say defund they mean bring the budget back down to a reasonable level. Not make them broke.
