Black people aren’t conservative at allwe have a good amount tbh
The central theme of conservativism is maintaining the status quo, discrimination and trickle down economics
All which are the total antithesis of black folk

I feel like people that say that have a more narrow scope for what it means to be a conservative.

This is obtuse to the fact that black people for the most part are indifferent or opposed to things like gay marriage and gender neutral bathroom bills and other stuff in that nature. Trickle down economics is all relative to your class. If more blacks were in the top 1% you think we would want no “trickle” anything?, is you crazy.. especially when the economy was founded on the backs of native blacks.Black people aren’t conservative at all

conservatives "overall" want there to be less government "interference"
so you're not really finna here them speak on healthcare or jobs, let alone economic policy that actually is beneficial to the poor, let alone allows them an agency
at the very least with liberals you have a number who would be for some form of free/affordable healthcare, but everything else is about you having to jump through hoops to "earn it".
it's the Obama mentality
and for the record, I don't think majority of people even identify with labels such as liberal or conservative because they're arbitrary to their day to day lives, I'd argue ones immediate culture has more pull and sway then whether or not people adhere to some limited principals established by the west.

We have conservative ideology by nature, its not just hard alt-right stances.

trust, if he spent a year in super liberal cali
he’d quickly realize we AINT super liberal
we have some liberal ideals to us as wellOutside of being more religious (which translates to "conservative" views on gay rights and whatnot) how are black people conservative? Are you saying we generally agree with conservative economic policy? All economics is "relative to your class" which is why I think most blacks are NOT conservative. We have to make decisions based on the current state of things not some imaginary world where all black people are in the top 1%.
How? Other than being more religious, how are black people more conservative?
We can criticize white liberals (and they are exceptionally terrible) while still acknowledging that more liberal ideals benefit black folk than conservative ideals...
